| "I am an reclusive, manic depressive where my highs are like heaven
and the lows are the pit of hell. I am self-taught, and have never exhibited before. I recently discovered Van Gogh- I love, understand and relate to Van Gogh. On larger pieces I work in fierce impasto style with much energy. Yet I equally love more gentle work. I do not paint from life - but another place. I do not plan or prepare my work in advance - each painting is a surprise. - A discovery of inner culture and the power of God. Fasting often promotes a productive period of work. Sometimes I have powerful experiences after completing a painting. My goal is for those who look at my work to feel something of it�s content; something of the feeling that I have experienced whilst painting it." |
